Between Zero and One

Is the world truly as it seems? Or does it only seem to be real? Every thought is a frame. Between knowing and not knowing lies a space for possibility. And that is where everything begins.

A world between probability and possibility

How likely is it that the world is not what it seems?

Probably zero. That’s what most would say. But this is where the devil hides in the detail. Because to assume something means you don’t know it. Which means, it remains a possibility. So the real question should be:

Is it possible that the probability isn’t actually zero?

Well, it’s as likely as it is possible. Not very likely, but not impossible either. A state between zero and one. Or both at once.

What sounds paradoxical is, in truth, completely normal. Nothing exists in only one way. Every gaze is a choice. Every certainty a construction. And everything is perspective.

Even a stone.

It defies wind and rain, doesn’t fall, doesn’t break. But if you shift your perspective onto the stone, you might begin to see:

The stone fears the fall.
Shivers in the wind.
And feels the rain when it pours.
